The Albanian Olympic Academy (ALB NOA) and the National Olympic Academy of Kosovo have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the offices of the NOC in Tirana.
In April 2022, the President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH), Mr Fidel Ylli and ALB NOA Director, Enkelejda Caushi are joined in a meeting by the representatives of the Kosovo Olympic Academy, Mr Fitim Arifi and Mrs Diellza Kelmendi, where the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which will bring more cooperation in the development of the Olympic Movement.
The agreement between the two Olympic Academies has a duration of 2 years and its main point is the exchange of information between the two Academies for the development of Olympic education, participation in forums and multilateral projects of common interest, support between the two countries in organizing conferences and joint scientific exchange of methodological materials between the two countries.
Previously, the Croatian Olympic Academy had started the dialogue with the NOA of Kosovo. Furthermore, it has applied for membership in the EOA.
