Ukrainian NOA hosts “OlympicLab” workshop for preschool children

On 18th November, the Chernivtsi branch of the Ukrainian Olympic Academy hosted an ecology workshop for preschoolers as part of the “OlympicLab” project. During the session, the children learned about the Olympic values and the importance of conserving the natural environment around them. The workshop also featured a game which helped the children to practise sorting rubbish into the correct bins for disposal. All of the young participants were rewarded with certificates, prizes and souvenirs.

The “OlympicLab” project began in Ukraine in 2016 and offers children the opportunity to find out more about the Olympic movement, meet Olympic athletes and learn about leading a healthy lifestyle. The project includes 6 modules which are based on the Learn and Share programme of the Youth Olympic Games
