Together with its partners, the Olympic Committee of Slovenia carried out a project called “Athletes Friendly Education” with the support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The project’s main objective was to develop an evaluation system for educational institutions that support athletes during their sports careers and education. The National Olympic Academies of Slovenia, Germany and Croatia were involved in realising this undertaking as project partners.
The project management invites to its final conference where the partners will present their results focusing on the “Athletes Friendly Education Handbook – Award for Educational Institutions supporting the Dual Career of Athletes”. This topic is of particular interest to National Olympic Academies in Europe, and therefore the EOA endorses this invitation.
The conference will be held digitally on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, at 14.00 Central European Time.
