Since 2022, the Kosovo Olympic Academy has been a member of the European Olympic Academies. The membership was decided at the Fourth EOA General Assembly on 21 April 2022.
Director Fitim Arifi and Coordinator Diellza Kelmendi presented the activities of the Academy. The KOA is part of the newly founded NOC of Kosovo and is in charge of the promotion of Olympic values in Kosovo. The mission of the Academy is to promote the Olympic Values and the Olympic Spirit, as well as to provide the highest standards of education and professional opportunities to the sports community in Kosovo. The vision of the Olympic Academy is to strengthen the Olympic brand in Kosovo by raising awareness of the Olympic Movement and educating generations of professionals in the field of sport to create opportunities for stronger and better-developed sports in Kosovo.
