The EOA is pleased to announce that the Georgian Olympic Academy was accepted as the 35th member in March 2024. The NOA of Georgia is already a familiar name to EOA members thanks to its attendance at the Second Conference for European NOAs in Baku in 2015 and its involvement in many IOA Sessions.
The Georgian Olympic Academy actively cooperates with the Georgian National Olympic Committee (NOC) and carries out various joint initiatives and activities to share and disseminate Olympic education among our athletes and their communities. Georgian NOA President Prof Lela Aptsiauri praised the activities and initiatives of the EOA and its members to promote Olympism and the Olympic Movement in Europe.
EOA President Manfred Laemmer said: “The EOA is a growing community. We are very much looking forward to working with our new colleagues from Georgia.”
