The European Olympic Academies (EOA) is the association of National Olympic Academies (NOAs) in Europe with the mission to disseminate the Olympic Idea and Values. The organisation aims to facilitate collaboration and exchange of experience between the NOAs and other stakeholders, promote the Olympic Movement through own initiatives and to provide platforms for discussion by holding conferences and seminars.

We have the following vacancy:

Manager, Olympic Education & EU Projects

Duration:Starting immediately until December 31, 2024, option to extend
Location:Frankfurt, Germany
Workload:20h/week (50%)

Exciting times are unfolding at the EOA! After one successful Olympic cycle in which several fundamental areas of organisational development could be established, the EOA is now looking for a permanent employee to take over the work in Olympic Education and the EU projects.

We are a small team with plenty space for creativity and opportunities. You are challenged to actively shape and influence the development by bringing your views and skills to the table. This and more once again in a few key points:

  • Active and independent cooperation in the current EU projects
  • Assistance in on-going projects around Olympic education
  • Assistance in planning and implementation of EOA events
  • Produce reports on EU and Olympic education projects
  • Produce Olympic education content for digital communication
  • Coordinate interns and working students for assistance in the projects
  • Coordinate and assist the EOA Flame Awards jury

/// Your profile

  • Passion for sport and the Olympic Idea
  • University education or equivalent (Bachelor or higher)
  • Good knowledge of the sports structures, the Olympic Movement and the Olympic Games
  • Fluency in English (written and oral)
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience in project management
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications and online meeting tools
  • Eagerness to learn, flexibility, international/European orientation
  • Can-do attitude
  • Must be willing to travel
