The European Olympic Academies (EOA) is a recently founded association of National Olympic Academies (NOAs) with the mission to disseminate the Olympic values, philosophy and ideals at the European level. The organisation aims to facilitate inter-European collaboration, exchange of experience between the NOAs, Olympic education through its own initiatives and incentives by holding its own conferences and seminars.
We have the following vacancy starting December 1st, or by arrangement:
Internship – Sport Development
Duration: | 3-6 months |
Location: | Partly in Frankfurt (Germany), partly digital |
Workload: | 20-40h/week (can be completed parallel to ongoing studies) |

Exciting times are unfolding at the EOA! After a successful year in which several fundamental areas of organisational development could be established, this period is now dedicated to the preparation of new projects. The intern will be actively involved in this, based on the prevailing level of knowledge. There will be some communicative tasks, and at the same time the new projects will have to be designed, organised and implemented.
We are a small team with plenty space for creativity and guidance. You are challenged to actively shape and influence the development by bringing your views and skills to the table. This and more once again in a few key points:
- Assistance in on-going projects
- Content production (writing articles, social media posts, press releases, statements), the EOA Annual Report and further development of the content plan
- Editing of content submitted
- Social media management

- Passion for sport
- Native English speaker or proficient English
- Preferably in studies of sports, media/communication, sports management, political science, Olympic studies or similar disciplines
- Basic knowledge of the sports structure, the Olympic movement and the Olympic Games desirable
- Proficient in the use of common MS Office applications and video conferencing tools
- Any experience with photo editing and creating graphics is an asset
- Eagerness to learn, flexibility, international/European orientation
- Can-do attitude
