Final Preparations Underway for the EOA Congress in Prague 2025

With just one week to go until our Seventh EOA Congress opens in Prague, preparations with the Czech Olympic Academy are in their final stretch. Led by Zdeněk Škoda and Alexandr Kliment, the local organising team is fine-tuning logistics and content on site so we can welcome our delegates to a setting that encourages focused debate and productive exchange.

This year’s programme, themed “Current Issues and Developments of the Olympic Movement,” brings together experts, scholars, partners and our member academies for a rich mix of keynotes, round-tables and hands-on commission workshops. Topics span Olympic education and its bridges to schools and universities, heritage and legacy in the European context, governance and integrity, as well as current developments shaping the Olympic ecosystem. The schedule also features our General Assembly, networking opportunities and the Gala Dinner, alongside activities commemorating the 1925 Olympic Congress in Prague – its lasting legacy and the challenges that remain today.
