At European Universities Games 2026 in Salerno, Italy, the European University Sports Association (EUSA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the European Olympic Academies (EOA), marking the beginning of a strategic alliance to strengthen university sport and promote Olympic values across Europe.
The partnership will foster educational programmes, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives that empower young people through sport, while encouraging closer cooperation between National Olympic Academies and national university sport federations.
