Career Management Program for Elite Female Coaches

The Olympic Committee of Israel launched a unique program for selected elite female coaches. This program will impart knowledge and skills for career management and professional and personal advancement.

The program was created in collaboration with Olympic Solidarity and its purpose is to provide tools, strengthen capabilities, and empower female coaches with the professional horizon of leading the Olympic champions of tomorrow.

The duration of the program is 6 months and includes lectures by experts from various fields. In addition, each of the 9 coaches will be accompanied by a senior mentor from diverse sectors such as sports, academia, and multinational corporations, each contributing their various specialty.

Among the participating coaches is the former Olympic sailor (Beijing 2008 – London 2012) and member of the NOC Athletes Commission Nufar Edelman. Among the participating mentors are the NOC President, Yael Arad, and the Chair of the Gender Equality Commission, Suzy Yogev.

The coaches represent the following sports: sailing, artistic gymnastics, taekwondo, synchronized swimming, wheelchair tennis, rugby, basketball, football, and volleyball.
